Taiwan continues to refine its global investment promotion strategies to attract key international technology holders and drive economic growth.
1. Attracting Foreign Investments in Key Technologies:
Taiwan actively identifies business opportunities and supply chain gaps in the Five Trusted Industries, Six Core Strategic Industries, and other national priority sectors to attract foreign investment.
2. Joint Investment Promotion via Overseas Missions:
Priority countries and overseas offices are designated as key targets. The head of each mission coordinates its political, economic, and technology sections, together with TAITRA branches, to jointly promote investment in Taiwan.
3. Organizing Investment Promotion Activities:
Taiwan showcases its investment advantages through global investment forums (i.e., the Taiwan Business Alliance Conference), outbound investment missions, and virtual promotion events to attract foreign investments.
4. Strengthening the Role of the Invest Taiwan Office:
The Invest Taiwan Office serves as a single-window platform that offers proactive, customized, end-to-end services for investors and resolves investment barriers through cross-agency and multi-level coordination mechanisms.
