To realize its vision of becoming a benchmark in health and green industries, Taiwan Sugar Corporation (Taisugar) has actively implemented ESG sustainability strategies over the years, garnering widespread recognition. This year, Taisugar once again claimed two major awards at the TCSA Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards, marking its 10th consecutive win and showcasing its exceptional performance in corporate sustainability management.The 17th TCSA Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards ceremony was held today (Dec 11th) at the Grand Hilai Taipei. Taisugar was honored with the "Top 100 Sustainability Model Enterprise in Taiwan Award" for its outstanding overall performance. Additionally, in the sustainability reporting category, Taisugar achieved the highest accolade, the Platinum Award, in the traditional manufacturing industry, highlighting its excellence in ESG execution and information disclosure.Taisugar emphasized this year's ESG achievements, which include the "Raptors for Rodent Control in Sugarcane Fields" initiative, balancing agricultural ecological protection with corporate operations, and the "Tainan Chongxian Intergenerational Co-Residence Circular Housing Project". The latter integrates circular economy principles, net-zero architecture, and care for diverse communities. These initiatives also earned Taisugar the Gold Award and Silver Award at the TSAA Taiwan Sustainability Action Awards this year.In addition, Taisugar fully supports the national energy transition policy by actively promoting renewable energy and steadily advancing livestock farm reconstruction and improvement projects. By integrating agricultural technology with innovative concepts, Taisugar has launched environmentally friendly and health-focused food products, earning domestic recognition, such as the " Taisugar Beauty Collagen Jelly " winning the "Haiyan Aquatic Products Award". Taisugar has also responded to government initiatives for social housing and long-term care by transforming its student dormitories and providing land for the construction of social housing, reflecting its commitment to addressing diverse social needs.Taisugar emphasized its dedication to advancing contributions in the ESG field through innovative technologies and practical measures.
