Taiwan's export value in October 2022 was US$39.93 billion, an increase of -0.5% compared to the same month last year. Taiwan's import value in October 2022 was US$36.95 billion, an increase of 8.2% compared to the same month last year.

In October 2022, the export value of electronic products was US$16.90 billion (42.3% of the total). It was the principal commodity export. Compared to the same month last year, mineral products, parts of electronic product and information, communication and audio-video products grew by 54.2%, 15.9% and 11.4%, respectively.

In October 2022, exports to Japan, ASEAN, the U.S.A., Europe and Mainland China & Hong Kong grew by 18.7%, 11.0%, 3.1%, 1.5% and -9.2%, respectively compared to the same month of last year.
