This year, the Taiwan Excellence Awards sponsored the 2024 Tour de Taiwan. These Awards highlight Taiwan's bicycle industry's innovation and excellence worldwide. The event, broadcast through competitions and Eurosport, served to elevate the international profile of Taiwan's bicycle industry.

At the 8th March pre-race press conference, Mr. Guann-Jyh Lee, the Deputy Director General of TITA, accepted the highest honor of the champion's jersey. Together with other dignitaries present, Deputy Director General Lee opened the event and wished everyone success.

The Tour de Taiwan started from Taipei on 10th March. The organizers also specially arranged for the appearance of the Taiwan Excellence Bear, Taiwan's premium mascot, to cheer for the cyclists who gathered at the Taipei City Hall.
