Director-General Cynthia Kiang of the International Trade Administration (TITA) led a delegation to Europe for the Taiwan Expo 2024 in Europe. This event was held in Berlin, Germany for the first time after previous exhibitions in Southeast Asia, the United States, and Japan. The Expo showcased Taiwan's innovative capabilities in AI applications and sustainable green trends under the theme "Digital Horizon, Green Tomorrow." Activities such as the Taiwan-Europe Semiconductor Cooperation Forum and trade negotiations were also organized to facilitate in-depth exchanges with European tech professionals in semiconductors, electric vehicles, and medical innovations sectors. A total of 110 Taiwanese companies participated, attracting professional buyers and large enterprises from various European countries to explore business opportunities in the EU market. The Expo marked a new chapter in Taiwan-Europe relations while strengthening bilateral cooperation and connections.
