On November 8, 2024, Deputy Director General Susan Chi-Chuan Hu of the International Trade Administration (TITA) under the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) met with Deputy Director Ron Yip of the United Kingdom's Department for Business and Trade. They exchanged views on economic cooperation between the United Kingdom and Taiwan.
