The technology of lithiophillic-alloy-laminated electro-deposited copper foil is developed to be utilized in anode-free current collector for next-generation battery design, which can significantly improve the battery safety and efficiency. By alloying treatment, the interfacial stability can be enhanced resulting in longer cycle life. Thanks to the industrial cooperation, anode-free current collectors will be produced in large scale, encouraging the world-leading copper manufacturers in Taiwan to invest next-generation battery materials.
