The invention discloses a device for calculating CLV (Customer Lifetime Value), which may be executed on a computer. The device for calculating CLV may comprise a computing module, a processing module, and an output module. The computing module comprises a previous period accumulation discount rate unit, a current equivalent value unit, and a later period prediction discount rate unit. The three units may generate a previous period customer value, a current customer value, and a later period customer value, respectively. Further, the processing module is connected to the output module electrically, and it may sum up the previous period customer value, the current customer value, and the later period customer, so as to generate the CLV. With this invention, the CLV for each customer may be measured and the accuracy for personal marketing may be improved.
