Taiwan Research-Institute Entrepreneur Ecosystem (TREE) Program
The Taiwan Research-Institute Entrepreneur Ecosystem (TREE) Program establishes a consultation and incubation mechanism for innovation startups based on the research and development results of MOEA projects. Ranging from shaping the team, building a startup company, to the growth of the company, the TREE Program expects to nurture new technology industry and to create new economic values through business practice courses, one-on-one mentor guidance, overseas relocation training and field testing, as well as extended venture consultations.
TREE Entrepreneurship School
In order to accumulate business thinking and innovative action capabilities of start-up team members, TREE provides three-stage training courses, not only online Courses(basic level), entreprenerd workshop (in-person, advanced level),but also international workshop which is guided by the experts from Berkeley SkyDeck or Stanford University.
Landing Program
We select R&D teams with international development potential and go to join the entrepreneur-accelerator program of Berkeley SkyDeck or Stanford University in the United States for 3 Months to leverage the abundant resources of Silicon Valley startup ecosystem.
Results
Since April 2021, the 180 deep technology teams joined TREE program, has supported the establishment of 33 new startups. These teams have collectively raised NTD 5.85 billion in funding, collaborated with 16 major domestic enterprises on field validations, and achieved 23 international business development milestones such as signing cooperation agreements with global institutions or establishing overseas subsidiaries. They have also secured 33 international startup awards.
